Hello gentle readers.
I was forced to head right back to Shortie Town, today. I got careless and a tragedy occurred. I was unable to affect a repair and out came the grinder. Again. *sigh*
So, back to short. What to do with my new shorties? Why, wear red, of course. :D This red is an older Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear polish in Brick Wall. This polish was gifted to me by a very kind fellow blogger. And boy is it ever a hit with me. I am a sucker for a good red jelly. And that is exactly what this is. For this mani, I applied two coats and topped it with Seche Vite. All photos taken in afternoon sun.
I don't know what is with my gap on my ring finger. It happened after I applied my Seche Vite and I missed the melt and didn't get it cleaned up before I took pictures. Empty headed slag I am. So, yeah... Weirdness there. Sorry about that.
This pic was taken before topcoat. Look how insanely shiny and squishy this stuff is, even topcoat free.
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Brick Wall is a blood red jelly. It is translucent but highly pigmented. I had perfect coverage in two coats. The formula is gorgeous. Silky, smooth and applies beautifully. But I had to be careful; hitting my cuticles resulted in staining if I didn't clean it up fast, fast. Happily, it was so easy to control, I had little cleanup. What I did have to do was mostly fussbudget refining. From the smell of this polish, I suspect it isn't B3F. Probably why it applied so beautifully.
I would love to see this polish as a holo. Shit! I think I just had an orgasm, thinking about it. lol
Okay, so... What think you? Do you own this polish? If so, do you love it as much as I now do?
